Philosophy
Studio G Dance will strive to provide an excellent dance program
in a positive, fun and motivating environment. The intended goal of Studio G Dance is to develop your child to be the best person God intended for him or her to be; not only in dance, but in life as well.

All Ballet classes include barre work and combinations.
Ballet 1-2 These classes are designed to begin formal training, discipline and proper etiquette. Ages 8+
Ballet 3-5 Builds on student's basic Ballet skills and prepares them for Pointe shoes.
Ballet 6-7 Classes for student's with 4 to 5 years of formal ballet training.
Pointe is for the serious ballet dancer, providing valuable training.
Modern is expressive dance that includes Modern, Jazz, Lyrical and Classic Ballet.

Focuses on the fundamental footwork, rhythm and techniques of tap dancing. Ages 8+

Builds on footwork, rhythm and works on sequencing with special attention on clean technique.

Classes for students with 3 to 4 years of Tap experience.

This 8 week class comes to life through a series of engaging scenes through storytelling. This is a highly supportive environment for students to develop their confidence to act, sing and dance learning fun Broadway scenes and songs.

Street style dancing with fun, high energy music. Includes popping, locking and basic break dancing.

Acrobatic Arts focuses on flexibility, strength, balancing, limbering and tumbling. These are key skills to help your child become stronger and more confident.

Dance classes for children with special needs. Studio G Families raise funds for the students and their families to enjoy the class at no cost. Funds are raised through annual popcorn sales and donations.

This class helps prepare students with the technique and confidence they need to be on the high school drill team. It involves intensive stretching, high kicks and turns.
6th grade & up

This class is designed for newcomers or those revisiting the basics, focusing on developing a foundational understanding of ballet technique. Students learn fundamental elements like the five ballet positions, proper alignment, and posture through exercises at the barre and in the center of the studio. Classes emphasize building strength, flexibility, and coordination through slow, controlled movements and simple combinations all by learning ballet vocabulary and fostering confidence.
RECITAL
Showcase vs. Dance Demonstration
Studio G Dance presents a formal Showcase every other year. On the off years, students perform dance demonstrations, which are known as informal recitals. The performance is held at the end of the dance season to showcase student's hard work, how much they have learned and progressed. A costume fee per class and a recital fee applies. Technique classes and Acrobatic Arts classes are currently not eligible.

All studio information and communication are disseminated via email and the Studio G mobile app. Maintaining an active, regularly checked email address on file is essential. Downloading the Studio G mobile app is highly recommended. We utilize both platforms to send timely notifications about upcoming events, studio closures, and important announcements.
